New heights for Wofollow: Merit win at Design Kancils for Yu-Ai’s Mid-Autumn Festival campaign

Wofollow received recognition at the prestigious Kancil Awards ceremony held on 22nd November 2024, winning a Merit in Packaging Design for the Yu-Ai Mooncake Festival campaign titled 棋乐融融 Good Play Good Taste.

The Kancil Awards, widely acknowledged as Malaysia’s largest and most prestigious advertising competition, celebrate creativity and innovation across the nation’s advertising and design industry. Receiving a Kancil award is a mark of excellence, setting a benchmark for outstanding work in the creative field.

The awarded campaign showcased Wofollow’s ability to transform traditional mooncake packaging into a unique, interactive experience. The Moon Landing Adventure board game embedded within the packaging encouraged family bonding during the Mid-Autumn Festival, seamlessly blending Yu-Ai’s rich heritage with a modern, playful concept.

Yu-Ai, a mooncake brand that has gained significant popularity over the past decade, is celebrated for its craftsmanship and commitment to quality. From its beginnings as a food-filling facility over 35 years ago, Yu-Ai has grown into a leading specialist in the industry. Its mooncakes, known for their exceptional taste, have become a beloved choice for festive celebrations, reflecting the dedication and passion poured into every product.
